Still working at Russell Florist that my dad started in 1956. My daughter works for me now as a designer. I have always been lucky to live pretty close to the store and even after I moved from my 55th and Nieman address I still live about 7 min. from work. As always I still love working on cars and motorcycles. My dog goes almost everywear with me. Thats about it for now. Ben |

After graduating with a degree in astronomy & physics from Arizona in 1973, Dean began an engineering career at the Rocket Lab on Edwards AFB, and has been working with rockets, satellites, and optical sensors ever since. He lived in the Denver metro area from 1977-2014, worked at what was then Martin Marietta Space Systems outside of Littleton for about 15 years, wrote a travel book about the West (hence the website), built a house in the foothills at 9000 ft elevation outside of Denver on evenings and weekends, and retired from Ball Aerospace in Boulder in late 2014. My favorite hobby is scenic photography, and I recently moved to Montana to be closer to Yellowstone and the Northwest (as well as to avoid all the traffic that has dramatically increased in Colorado). We're still looking for land at a higher elevation that is cooler with more snow and moisture. |

| Comment: Retired R.N., turned ceramics potter, haven't worked past 2 years due to health problems. so I stay at home and play in the gardens. But i mostly play with my 9 (3 real)grandchildren. My grandson's cousins and my son's goddaughter all heard him call me "Grandma, so they thought I was theirs, too. My daughter's name is Leslie(Ray), she has a son, Micah, who will be a freshman at SMN this fall. He has 2 sisters, Mia, 4, and Lilly,18 months. And, if I wasn't so senile, I could probably tell you all the others' ages(20 down to 5). My son's name is Jared(27 and single), goddaughter to one of the above. | |
